The Norwegian Water

I feel like I don't say enough good things about living here. I don't want to give off the impression that I am unhappy here, so I want to start a new weekly feature where I name one thing that I really love about living here.

This week I will start out with the water here.

Not only is the water that comes from the tap better tasting than any bottled water I knew of back home, it's the softest water too!

I think my hair is the happiest about this. I love the way my hair has felt since moving here. There is only one other place that I have been where I saw a noticeable change in how my hair would behave and that was NYC. The water there is amazing, but I think Norway may actually have NY beat!

I think I will need to bottle it and stock it away when we move just so I don't have to go back to harsh water. My skin and hair will go through withdrawals!!

It may seem trivial to be thankful for my hair softness, but I suppose life really is about the little things!

  1. Hi from a new follower :)

What a fantastic idea! I should have done the same for my blog as I tend to be constantly complaining about Bangkok and one of the things i really miss is good quality water that won't make us sick and kill us ;)

I really envy you living in Norway - we are a family of Australians and desperate to live again in Europe ... preferably Sweden or anywhere where it snows would be great
